Stories for all the badass babes who still believe in holding out for a hero

Headshot of AJ Blanch

MEET THE AUTHOR

AJ Blanch discovered writing back when she found she could procrastinate her math homework by distracting her mother with an original poem or anecdote.

She now crafts stories of magic and romance—she still avoids doing math.

When not writing, you can find AJ spending time with her man and their four kids.

Found in Embers (Astrid Stone Book 1): Leaves you wanting more This is my first time reading a book of this nature. I’m usually a murder mystery girl but was looking to branch out and I’m so glad I did and chose this book. It really pulled me in. I didn’t feel like it was too rushed or too far drawn out. The love and bond between Astrid and her sister was beautifully written. I can’t wait for the the next in this trilogy and see what adventures Astrid encounters next.

Found in Embers (Astrid Stone Book 1): Entertaining The whole book felt rushed. I liked the story and want to know what's next. It could have been more descriptive in every way. It had a little bit of language, including 1 F-word.

Found in Embers (Astrid Stone Book 1): Fun book Original idea and lots of good detail. It was a little jarring when magic was first introduced and there was a little bit of language that distracted from an otherwise great story.I'd definitely love to see a sequel and find out what happens next. The main character has a personality that draws you in and makes you feel invested in what happens to her.
